Explore Laos
One of Southeast Asia’s least visited destinations, yet one of its most enchanting.
Charmingly known as 'land of a million elephants', Laos is a country of steep, jungle-ridden valleys with picturesque rivers flowing between them. Intertwined with the natural beauty of the country, you will find ancient cultures, pristine, golden pagodas and warm-hearted locals. Laos is somehow still a secret of Southeast Asia, so it isn’t hard to find the unbeaten paths that will guide you through the striking, green blanket that covers this country.

STUNNING VIEWS AND SUNSET CRUISES
Known for its many Buddhist temples and dramatic mountain scenery, Luang Prabang is rich with culture and heritage. Its remarkably well-kept architecture has earned the city UNESCO World Heritage status.
During the day, visitors will come across saffron-robed monks going about their routines through the quiet streets, eager to practise their English language with travellers. The famous Kuang Si Falls are a popular stop-off, but if you venture further into the hills your guide can take you on stunning treks through jungles and remote, traditional villages. After a day’s exploring, you can board a luxury cruise and spend the evening experiencing the magic of the Mekong, which has been the lifeblood of Southeast Asia for centuries. As you float down this majestic river you’ll notice the nocturnal wildlife emerge from between the trees as the sun falls behind the jungle hillsides.

ANCIENT TEMPLES AND SECRET CAVES
Laos is scattered with Buddhist temples and the remanence of ancient civilisations dating back almost 1000 years. Local guides will take you around these sacred sites telling you stories of old, with the heritage these cultures left behind.
Adventure to Northern Laos where you can explore the caves around Vieng Xai. During the Vietnam War the Pathet Lao, a communist organisation, created a base inside the complex network of these caves. Large communities of thousands of people lived here and now they welcome travellers to retrace their steps. Explore schools, theatres, hospitals and army barracks in this mysterious, unique, underground city.
