Explore Malaysia
Known for its colourful cultures, dense jungles, flourishing wildlife and paradise beaches, Malaysia’s diversity is what makes it stand out.
As a country of extremes, Malaysia offers the bright lights and skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur to the serenity of desert island beaches in Langkawi.
Situated along historic trade routes, Malaysia incorporates Chinese, Indian and Muslim influences which translate into mouth-watering food, varied distinct architecture and a warm, multicultural society.
Malaysia’s diversity is truly extraordinary, but as a destination this can often be overlooked. As well as visiting the famous Petronas Towers, you can explore traditional street markets hidden amongst the modern skyscrapers or wander through China Town with its atmospheric markets, temples and, of course, incredible food.
Penang is an island off the west coast and is the most tourist-visited destination in Malaysia. It is a fusion of eastern and western influences and due to its well-preserved heritage buildings in the capital, Georgetown is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also famous for its Tropical Spice Garden.
A TROPICAL PARADISE
Whilst in Malaysia, most will take some time away from the busy cities to relax and Langkawi is one of Malaysia’s paradise islands, popular with backpackers and honeymooners alike, with something to suit all budgets. The pristine beaches are the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. Snorkel in the warm, turquoise ocean and see if you can find exotic aquatic-life such as clownfish and green sea turtles.
Moving on to the tropical wilderness of Malaysian Borneo you can stay in stylish, luxury cabins along the banks of the Kinabatangan River. Take a trip to the National Park and see wild orangutans high up in the trees amongst the dense rainforests. If you are looking for more adventure, why not challenge yourself to climb through the clouds to reach the summit of Mount Kinabalu? Trekking and cycling through dense forests and local villages are some of the many activities on offer.
Malaysia’s extensive coastline is littered with traditional fishing villages, lively resorts and quiet hideaways whilst its lush inlands team with jungles, wildlife, mountains and adventures. Whatever balance you are looking for, we can tailor-make it for you.
